  • Canoe 101

    Learn the basic canoe and safety skills you need to get out and paddle independently.

    90 minutes total

    15-30 minutes of shore based instruction covering the canoe, safety gear and basic paddle strokes.

    60-75 minutes on the water

    $55.00 per canoe

  • Wildlife/Photography Tours

    Looking to experience Nebraska’s native wildlife from a new point of view? The areas lakes and rivers offer a great look into the diverse plant and animal life, from muskrats to eagles and everything in between.

    No canoe experience required and no paddling is necessary. Bring just yourself or equipment you may want to use for capturing wildlife, landscape or city views from a new point of view.

    *Paddlin’ Pete’s is not responsible for any outside equipment brought along. Anything in a canoe could take a swim.

  • Guided Lake Paddle

    Pick a lake of your choice in the metro area. Canoe, life jackets, paddles and other gear included.

    $40.00 per hour/per canoe

    Max group size - 6 paddlers (additional non-paddling passengers may be allowed)

  • Guided River Trip

    Get out and explore some of our local waterways. The metro area offers some easy access to rivers like the Elkhorn, Platte and Missouri. Guided river trips can be customized to suite your needs. For group sizes up to 6 paddlers all equipment can be provided. This service is also available as a “bring your own boat”. Shuttle service for boats can be provided in addition to on the water guided paddles. Please call or email to discuss your needs in detail.

  • ACA Skill Courses

    If you are looking for a more formal canoe instruction, Paddlin’ Pete is a certified instructor through the American Canoe Association (ACA) and would be happy to accommodate skill courses and assessment as needed. More information can be found at the ACA webpage.

  • Shuttle Service

    Shuttle service for put in and pull out of local rivers is available. Prices will vary depending on location, distance and travel time.

  • Canoe Repair

    Pete has made a habit of buying older canoes in need of repair and getting them ready for more paddling. If you have a canoe you would like to repair yourself and just need information or assistance Pete is here to help. Depending on the project size and boat material, repair work may also be available. Please reach out with question or for more information on repairs.
