Born and raised in Nebraska, Pete has a passion for the outdoors and likes to help others explore the states natural beauty from a new point of view. Growing up in Nebraska, he experienced something that impacts many people in the state, the idea that great outdoors are found elsewhere. It can be difficult to find easy access to the wild waterways & lakes or knowledgeable people to point you in the right direction. In order to help more people find a way to get out and explore he created Paddlin’ Pete’s LLC in 2022. Pete holds instructor certifications in Canoeing (both solo and tandem), from The American Canoe Association (ACA), Swift water rescue training (SRT-1) from the Swiftwater Safety Institute as well as First Aid and CPR certifications from the American Red Cross.
